Sterilizer Monitoring Service

Instructions for Use:

1. Remove the TEST strip envelope from mailer (unsealed right side). Place in most difficult area to sterilize (i.e. front or back of normal load or inside densest pack).

   DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPE CONTAINING THE PAPER TEST STRIP AT ANY TIME

   DO NOT PROCESS THE CONTROL STRIP.

2. Sterilize the load according to normal procedure.

3. After processing, place the TEST strip envelope back inside mailer and seal

4. Complete all STERILIZER TEST DATA on each test mailer and return to the SPSMedical laboratory for culturing. Postage must be added.

5. Test results are posed immediately on our website (www.checkyourtest.com) and mailed/faxed quarterly.

• If the spore test fails, our experienced staff will call you immediately with recommendations per the Center for Disease Control. In addition, a report will be mailed for your records.

 Caution: This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Storage: Controlled room temperature.

• Protect from light, chemicals, sterilants, excessive heat and moisture.

• Do not use after expiration date.

• Dispose of by autoclaving or incineration.

• Geobacillus stearothermophilus spore population is approximately 10⁵.

• Bacillus atrophaeus spore population is approximately 10⁶.

• D values are available upon request.
